Step 1: Open a PDF Form
Run the PDFelement 6 on your computer once you have launched the program, import the PDF form that you want to use. You can import the PDF form by clicking the “Open File.” The program’s finder will help you browse for your PDF form, and you can search and open the PDF form that you want to use once you click the PDF form, it will be opened in the program.
Alternatively, you can also right-click on the PDF form from its location and then choose “Open With > PDFelement 6.
The third ways of opening the PDF form is going to your document folders and drag and drop the PDF form to the application’s window.
Step 2: Export Data from PDF Form to Excel
To proceed with the data extraction process, click the “Forms” option and under the menu, you choose “Data Extraction.” After clicking that button, a dialogue box will appear prompting you to set the options for your data extraction. Select “Extract data from PDF Fields.” Then click the “Start” button to begin the data extraction process.
All the information in the PDF form will be exported to an Excel CSV file. Once the data transfer is complete, click “Finish” to open the Excel spreadsheet.
